Test a link from another country, city or carrier

See what a visitor somewhere else gets: the redirects, the final page and, with an account, a screenshot. Real residential and mobile exits in 240+ countries, down to the state, city and carrier when it matters.

optional, enables the verdict

App package, Apple store id, store URL or landing-page domain. Without it the result is unverified.

Direct tests run from our own server: no country, city or carrier targeting.

Free test: pick a country, carrier and device and get the chain, final URL and verdict. Screenshots, batches and the API come with an account.

A VPN is not the visitor you are testing for

Geo-targeting keys on more than the country of the IP. Sites and trackers look at whether the address belongs to a datacenter, a residential ISP or a mobile carrier, and at the device and language the browser reports. A VPN endpoint in a datacenter is treated like a datacenter, which is why the page you see through it is not the page a local on their phone sees.

OfferProbe opens the link from a residential or mobile exit in the country you choose, on a real browser with the device, OS version and browser you pick. What comes back is what that visitor gets: the chain, the final page and the exit the visit was seen from.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick the place

A country from 240+, and where it matters a state, a city, a carrier or an ISP by name or ASN, and Wi-Fi versus mobile.

  2. 02

    Pick the visitor

Phone, tablet or desktop, with the OS version and browser your audience uses.

  3. 03

    See what they see

The redirects, the final URL and the verdict. With an account, the screenshot too.

What you get

The page served in that place
The final URL and, with an account, a screenshot of it as rendered on the chosen device.
The redirects on the way
Every hop with its status code, so a geo redirect is visible as a hop, not a surprise.
The exit used
The country, carrier, connection type and IP the visit was seen from, so a result can be reproduced.
A verdict against your expectation
Name the page a visitor there should reach and the result says working or wrong destination.

What people check with it

Check a geo-targeted campaign

Confirm the German landing page is the one German visitors reach, and that everyone else gets the fallback you intended.

Verify a carrier-only offer

Test from the carrier the offer pays on and from Wi-Fi in the same country; only the first should reach the offer.

Check a store listing by country

See which app-store page and which price a visitor in another country is sent to.

Questions

How is this different from a VPN or a proxy browser extension?

A VPN gives you a datacenter address in a country. A test here runs from a residential or mobile exit, on a real browser with a matching device fingerprint, so geo-targeting and carrier detection treat it as a local visitor. You also get the redirect chain and the exit details, not just a view of the page.

Which countries and carriers are available?

Residential exits in 240+ countries, and mobile carrier exits chosen by carrier name or ASN. The form lists the countries and carriers on offer.

Can I test from a specific city or state?

Yes. State and city targeting are part of a test, along with the carrier or ISP by name or ASN.

Do you tell me which IP was used?

Every result reports the exit IP, its country, the carrier or ISP and the connection type, along with the fingerprint the browser used.

Can I test the same link from many countries at once?

With an account, submit a batch of up to 100 tests, one per country or device, over the API and receive a webhook for each.
