Privacy policy
What we collect, why, where it is kept and how to have it removed.
Last updated 22 September 2026
1.Who is responsible
The OfferProbe team is responsible for your data. Questions and requests go to [email protected].
2.What we collect
- Account data: your email address, the name you enter, and the session that keeps you signed in.
- Test data: the links you submit, the targeting you choose, and the results, redirect chains and screenshots we produce.
- API keys, stored only as a one-way hash, and a usage record of each finished test for your quota and invoice.
- Billing references from our payment provider, such as a customer and subscription id. Card details never reach us.
- Server logs: the IP address, time, path and outcome of each request, kept for up to 30 days to run and secure the service.
- Messages you send to our support address.
Free tests on the start page are tied to a temporary token and to a hashed form of your IP address, used only to count the daily allowance.
3.Why we use it
To run the tests you ask for, show you your history, enforce your plan’s limits, bill you, answer your questions, and keep the service secure and working. The legal bases are the contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
We send no marketing email. Service messages (sign-in links, receipts, a change that affects your plan) go to your account address; you can ask us to stop any of them except the ones the law requires, such as receipts.
4.Where it goes
Your data is stored on servers in Frankfurt, Germany. These providers process it for us:
- DigitalOcean (hosting, Germany) and Cloudflare (network, DNS and the routing of our support mail).
- Creem, Armitage Labs OÜ (payments, receipts and taxes as merchant of record).
- Resend (transactional email such as sign-in links) and Google (the mailbox behind our support address).
- Grafana Labs (server logs and metrics, stored in Germany).
- Proxy networks: each test is browsed through a third-party residential or mobile network in the location you chose. That network sees the link being opened, not who you are.
The pages you test are third-party websites; what they see is a visit from the chosen network, not your account.
5.How long we keep it
Test results and screenshots are kept for the history period of your plan (30 days on Starter, one year on Growth and Scale) and for free tests 30 days, then deleted. Account and billing records are kept while you have an account and as long as tax law requires afterwards. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
6.Cookies
We set one first-party cookie to keep you signed in, and the browser stores your theme and form preferences locally. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of; blocking the one cookie only signs you out.
7.Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to a use, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. These are the rights the GDPR gives residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom and the CCPA gives residents of California; we extend them to everyone, and we never sell personal information, so there is no sale to opt out of. Deleting your account removes your tests, screenshots and keys; billing records stay as long as the law requires. The service is for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and a parent or guardian who believes we have can write to us to have it removed.
8.Changes
Changes to this policy are published here with a new date, and announced by email when they matter to you.
9.Contact
Requests and questions about your data go to [email protected]. Write from the address on your account so we can match the request to it without asking for more.
